SouthSide Sanctuary

SouthSide sanctuary was an installation meant to beautify the local community of Bronzeville, Chicago. Lead by Mayor Brandon Johnson’s “road to recovery” plan.

The installation took place on an abandoned plot of land, and was meant to revitalize the life and joy within the area of SouthSide Chicago.

SouthSide Sanctuary Team.

SouthSide Sanctuary is a non-profit created by the efforts of multiple different entrepreneurs and creatives. It is the result of different innovators aspirations for their beloved community.

The goal of the sanctuary was to add color into the community, so we created a total of 9 pieces for the organization. All curated to tell stories of Chicago; representing the people and their history.

Dedicated on building different worlds as aspects of the community.
